Supporting Organizations Led By People of Color

This fund supports community-based organizations that are led by people of color and are working with communities of color to transform barriers to racial equity in public K-12 education.

This year, the Foundation is utilizing a limited invite and concentration of efforts approach and is going back to the list of finalists from 2020, for the second cohort of the grant fund. Even though the Foundation is utilizing a concentration of efforts approach, the same criteria from last year’s RFP applies, with a focus on Black and Brown communities in southern New England where there is momentum for racial equity and young people of color are centered within it. We will announce organizations that are part of the second cohort later this year.
