Allen Boston served clients in a wide range of industries during his 36-year career with Ernst & Young, a global leader in assurance, tax, transaction, advisory and strategic growth markets services.

Now a retired partner, Mr. Boston’s leadership with the firm extended beyond client service; as the firm’s first National Director of Minority Recruitment & Retention, he initiated and developed diversity and inclusiveness strategies that significantly increased the representation of ethnically diverse professionals.

Mr. Boston, a Certified Public Accountant in Maryland and New York, served as Chair of the Finance Committee for the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council and as Chair of the Audit Committee and a member of the Finance Committee for the Fund for the City of New York. He has been honored throughout his career with over 30 recognitions and awards from professional, educational and community organizations; he was one of 10 recipients of Ernst & Young’s Chairman Award for the Americas.

For the Nellie Mae Education Foundation, Mr. Boston serves as the Chair of the Board’s Audit Committee. He also serves on the Board’s Executive Finance and Investment committees.
